Can you just reset the light without fixing the cause? +
We won’t do that — clearing the light without fixing the underlying fault leaves the safety system unreliable, which defeats the purpose of having it.
What usually causes an SRS light after a seat has been removed for another repair? +
Seat occupancy sensor wiring under the seat cushion is a common casualty of unrelated repairs. It’s straightforward to diagnose and reconnect once identified.
